Unika Nimbus Children and Youth Accommodation in Lund is a residence aimed at children and young people belonging to group 1 in LSS. We are a flexible operation where we can meet each resident's individual needs and interests in everything from leisure activities to daily wishes. We often take trips to nearby destinations, engage in leisure activities together, visit nearby shops, or take the bus down to the city. We strive for participation and influence for our resident youth in everything from cooking to choosing a movie during joint movie time.

As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to individuals with disabilities, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support users in their daily routines and activities based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.

We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, focusing on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for users to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work based on clear pedagogical methods and low-arousal responses to create safety and predictability in users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the resources of the operation.

Qualifications

• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills, experience in documentation.
• Experience working with clear pedagogical methods.
• Experience in care and support work.
• High school education such as child and leisure program, care and support program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field.
• Driver's license is a requirement.

Meritorious if you also have

• Experience with AAC and low-arousal responses.
• Experience working with complex support needs.

Employment conditions

Employment type: Permanent Work percentage: About 85% Working hours: Irregular, evenings, night shifts, weekends Start date: By agreement, we look positively on if you can start soon. Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.

If you are called for an interview, you need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
